Park Avenue, looking down towards the MetLife building

[ filesize:640x480 resolution: ]

[ filesize:640x480 resolution: ]

Times Square during the daylite hours ... still impressive

[ filesize:480x640 resolution: ]

massive tv screens always showing something very colourful

[ filesize:480x640 resolution: ]

and the building where the "new year ball drops" ... completely covered in advertising and almost no tenants since the owner makes enough money already

[ filesize:480x640 resolution: ]

Central Park ... notice the joggers ...

[ filesize:640x480 resolution: ]

another shot of Central Park where you can see through to the other side of the city

[ filesize:640x480 resolution: ]

Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine ... the best example of Gothic architecture in the city

[ filesize:640x480 resolution: ]

inside the massive hall

[ filesize:640x480 resolution: ]

Harlem ... btw all the people depicted here are stereotypically "black" ... notice also that the street name is Martin Luther King Jr Blvd

[ filesize:640x480 resolution: ]

Mother Hale ... who saved lots of abandoned children in the area

[ filesize:640x480 resolution: ]

Malcolm X Blvd ... there just had to be one :)

[ filesize:640x480 resolution: ]

[ filesize:640x480 resolution: ]

[ filesize:640x480 resolution: ]

inside the Museum of the American Indian ... very nice foyer ... too bad it was dedicated to settlers

[ filesize:640x480 resolution: ]

the entrance ... i guess it was made for some other purpose originally

[ filesize:640x480 resolution: ]

the statues look like theyre in pain ...

[ filesize:640x480 resolution: ]

the really cool heads above each doorway and window
