Higginson Highway, which goes through the suburb, has these trees overhanging at some places that go completely over the left lane

the contrasts of modern SA - Mobeni Heights with all its bourgeoise and Umlazi with its matchbox houses just on the horizon

even worse than housing settlements are squatter settlements, where people build make-shift houses out of scrap metal, cardboard, etc. and live on vacant land until thrown out

the Chatsworth Centre - the local shopping mall thats busier that most i have ever been to

the parking lot outside the Centre is always full on weekends and people park on the roadside outside the Center too

Grey Street Mosque ... the largest mosque in the southern hemisphere ... takes the whole city block with shops and apartments on the outsides and the mosque forming the central core
