a bunch of us old-time "caffeine-infested" buddies went to Kentucky to join Godfrey and Patricia for Thanksgiving (he moved because he finished his degree and got a job there for a bit)
the classic group shot: (back) Bob, Felix, Georgina, Patricia, Avi; (middle) Godfrey; (front) Fernando, me, Dave, Juan

horsing around on the sofa ... Felix and Juan trying (unsuccessfully) to get Fernando to wake up by sitting on him

Fernando in a serious mood

sitting around doing absolutely nothing ... this is what vacations are all about !

the real cool picture in front of the fountain ... makes you feel like the centre of the universe, what with all the fountains pointing at you :)

some random building on the Centre College campus ... i cant remember the name ...
[

walking the streets of Danville, Kentucky ... Dave pointing out the frat houses
[

the Blair Witch picture ... Dave taking a picture of grave stones ... all the while next to a church with nobody else in sight and on a cold and cloudy day too ... hmmm ...

the founding fathers, and Godfrey and Juan, who think they can look like the founding fathers if they try real hard

an interesting old church - too bad it was much too cloudy to get a good picture with my el-cheapo camera

and then we went to this old country store ... some 150 years old - and when you walked in you felt like it was about to fall apart at any moment ... Juan sat outside and felt right at home on the rocker with the store's dog at his feet

next to the store, of course, was an outhouse (an outside toilet) ... this particular store sold lots of memorabilia that was related to the outhouses ...

Godfrey and Patricia trying to figure out how to stuff the turkey - preparing the food was almost as much fun as eating since we had 8 foreigners trying to prepare a classic Thanksgiving dinner with little help from the two locals
