this is just a thought from a sleepless person, (perhaps not at all making any sense) but rather than dropping our lowest grade from our projects (for those of us that do well on the projects and test poorly on tests) perhaps it would be possible (just a thought of course) to have one of our projects be averaged into our exam grades. Rather than discarding such hard work entirely, those hard earned points could perhaps bring up our midterm average.
Of course this is just a thought, since it would seem kind of a waste to drop a whole project grade entirely... even if it's 7.5%... that little bit could bring up my test average... :)
